Like they say, 'What a year for VR..?? ( VR as in Virtual Reality ). So, what on earth is VR about apart from the fact that it is the latest buzzword in the staggering technological world.
Well, to sound elucidative i'd rather say "VR is the experience of a world ( a virtual world )
that doesn't actually exist. This virtual reality is created by computers that allows the user with a head-mount and input tracking experience & interact with the 3D virtual world.
The display will typically be split between your eyes, creating a stereoscopic 3D effect with stereo sound, and together with the technology and the input tracking, it will create an immersive, believable experience, allowing you to explore the virtual world being generated by the computer.
Sounds like a Jaw-dropping experience. Isn't it..!?
Or is it simply astounding of what we are capable of?

The word "technology" coined around the 17th century certainly has quite lived upto it's expectations in the 21st century. Well, technology meant the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes. Why am narrating all these..?? Actually, there's something which most of us are unaware of yet despite the exponential growth of media.
You guys would've heard about quite revolutionizing concepts ranging from Tesla's electric cars, CEL's Robox ( a 3D printer ), SpaceX progam, Google's self driving cars, Amazon's drone delivery system, and so on. Speaking of technology, the sole purpose of it's existence is for these to simplify and better our lives in an efficient & an effective manner. Agreed.
Here are two intricate & perplexing technological innovations we know not much about.
What is it..?? A teleporter? A green lantern power ring? The lightsaber from Starwars? Ironman's armor? 'No, a BIG Hellno.'
The Bloom's Energy Server

Built with patented Solid Oxide Fuel Cell's ( SOFC's ) technology, Bloom's Energy Server is a new class of distributed highly reliable, power generators which intend to produce clean & affordable electricity. Sounds interesting... Isn't it.?
Fuel cells are devices that convert fuel into electricity through a clean electro-chemical process rather than the harmful & a dirty combustion. In other words, they're literally like batteries except that they are ALWAYS ON & also produce a large amount of electricity.
And, they're also quite different from their counterpart known as the "hydrogen fuel cells".
Different.? In what way.? I must say, in three distinct ways namely,
-Low cost raw materials ( neither do they use expensive metals like Platinum nor do they require corrosive acids to carry out the reactions )
-High Electricity Efficiency ( nearly twice as much as efficient in generation )
-Fuel Flexibility ( they are perfectly compatible with both conventional & renewable sources as fuels )

How much electricity can they produce?
Well, surprisingly each Bloom's Energy Server provides about 200kW of power! Oh yes, you heard me right. Apparently, it seems to be more than enough to meet the baseload needs of over 100 average homes or an office building ( that too, on a 24 by 7 round the clock consumption ). Mindblowing isn't it.?
Believe it or not. Companies like Adobe, Apple, Dreamworks, eBay,FedEx, Google, Honda, Kellogg's, Medtronic, Panasonic, Walmart, & Yahoo are using this revolutionizing clean technology to generate power for their needs. Apparently, they aren't actually made available to household needs yet due to innumerable reasons although they are highly successful in powering huge companies with their daily electricity needs.

Boston Dynamic's Atlas
Now, who's fascinated in the field of Robotics.? or would love to get themselves a robot.?
Well, here's the next generation of Robotics. Boston Dynamics, a robotics design company has come up with the Agile Anthropomorphic Robot named "Atlas" quite a while ago.
Want to hear more about Atlas.? Let's call it the Robo sapiens like in Homo sapiens( scientific name of Human species ).
Atlas, a bipedal humanoid robot primarily developed by the manufacturer named Boston Dynamics with funding & oversight from United States Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency ( DARPA ). Guess what.. Atlas is 6 foot tall and serves the primary purpose of aiding the military in search & rescue operations.
What makes Atlas special.?
Well, Atlas is designed to negotiate the rough outdoor terrain. It can walk bi-pedally leaving upper limbs free to lift, carry, manipulate, & interact with the environment. While given an extremely challenging terrain, it is strong and coordinated enough to climb using both hands & feet, and also can it pick its way through congested spaces.
And, it turns out to have a well articulated sensor head which includes stereo cameras, & laser range finder. Atlas is powered from an off-board electronic power supply. It has an incredible number of about 28 hydraulically-actuated degrees of freedom, two-hands, arms, legs, feet & torso. It sure is a milestone achievement in the field of Robotics.

The awaited App Digest is here. I bet you guys would love it. There's this question which i often come across & here's the solution to it., The question goes like this, "Hey, do ya know how to download videos from YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, Vine, Dailymotion ???" I'd say It's quite easy when you wanna download it from a Desktop Browser rather than an Android Device. But, not anymore! Lemme introduce you to SnapTube.
SnapTube is an Android app that allows the user to download videos and mp3 from popular sites like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram ( YES, you heard me right ), Vine, Dailymotion, VEVO ( calling Music fans out there ), Vimeo, Metacafe, SoundCloud ( Again, something a Music lover would always love to do ). All we want to do after a hectic day of work, or college is to calm yourself down & keep your stress out. Actually, there's something you can do if you're an Android user. There's this two-way app which lets you be so relaxing just by interacting with the UI. And, it's none other than Grove.
Grove is simply an android application which generates a digital playground and a creative and relaxing toy where you explore procedural landscapes and turn them into your own colourful scenery. Grove gives the user the creative freedom of procedural tools while staying simple and fun. Wander into dense randomly generated forests and find out how to bend the rules that create this world ( or should i say Digital World ).
And, now we come to my personal favourite app on the list- FRAME. It's an undescribabale, and incredibly well organized wallpaper app for Android. Yeap, that's right. By far, the best i've ever come across. Jazz up your screen !
FRAME - Wallpapers is technically an android app by cw sei app developing team. It's based on the web source of Unsplash ( a website which provides HD images of almost all genres ). This app basically aggregates the HD images from Unsplash website & provides it in a downloadadble format & futher to either share it or apply it as your wallpaper. They're literally magnificent.Give it a shot!
You guys know what... It's good to look back to our childhood once in a while & please don't worry about others terming you as "premature" at times. Well, lemme tell you all something. What if i said there was a totally cool & a fun way to make Paper Planes still and also have them travel to places. Here's an app named as Paper Planes that might actually be more than sufficient to bring the child out in you ( the digital way ).
Paper Planes - Well, it's time that we occasionally turn back into our childhood days of Paper Planes in classrooms and also outdoors. But, this time we're gonna do it the ECO friendly way. Yeap, that's right. The Paper Planes are virtual. The main objective is pretty simple. You make a virtual paper plane on which you stamp your location and date and make it fly around the world. The app basically uses an program that simulates an artificial simulatory trajectory of paper planes flying around the Earth. In this app, similarly like you can make one you are also capable of catching the one's let to fly by other users from across the continents. No more, go have it downloaded right away.
Last app on the list is Instadict. Ever come across words that you didn't know synonyms for.? Well, you definitely would've ( Psst... if you were a Human LOL! ). This app is like all the other apps featured on the App Digest is very simple yet noteworthy. Now, you can find the synonym of the word in a totally different & a cool way. I'd say, it's a must have app if you read News articles, feeds, descriptions, & obviously blogs in your android device.

Hope I didn't scare you all with a dozen new names all at once. I had them mentioned since there's a critical issue that needs to be brought under the spotlight. There are two contrary real time examples i've mentioned below which i suppose is sufficient to give you guys an insight.
The 1st scenario:
Ever heard of these dashingly attractive Puffins, our feathery folks. A Puffin's main diet consists of Herrings, Hakes, Capelins, & Pipefishes ( in their preferential order ).
Due to climatic shift, the Puffin's have settled for a poor nutrient alternative i.e., the Pipefishes. The Pipefishes can be considered as the less nutritional food type for these Puffins. I know, that's definitely not a good sign. Just give a thought about the main reason for the change in Puffin's chief diet ( none other than climatic changes, recent studies say ).

The 2nd & completely contradictory scenario:
There are these particular types of feathered friends known as Sandwich Terns, sounds delicious huh..?? Oh come-on, quit that thought. They're birds & not the sandwiches we have nor do they prefer sandwiches ( I agree, the name's a little weird ). They've changed their food pattern & habits drastically from Herrings, Sprats, & to Sand Eels. Worst of all, the Sand Eels are increasingly scarce. And, yet again it's not evidently a good sign either.

Though, quite contradictory both the scenarios deliver us a warning note on Climatic Change & its adverse effects. All these changes are direct results of our desires & greeds. And, yet again we've been dreadfully successful in harming nature. Now, lets move that all aside & act while we still can. Because, We have a Chance. We have an Obligation!

Growing air pollution does scare us ... Doesn't it?
As we all know, air pollution is the most deadliest form of pollution among them all. According to WHO ( World Health Organization ), every 9 out of 10 people live in places where air pollution exceeds the safe limits. I know that sounds scary, but yes facts are meant to be spoken.
So, what does the growing CO₂ in the atmosphere & the alarming rise in the global amount of plastic consumption indicate ? So, what's the connection between growing CO₂ levels & plastic consumption? Well, here's the answer. For the past 13 years ( yes since 2003 ), Newlight Technologies have been working on main aim of moving plastic out of the world on a global scale. Though, plastic has been the workhorse of modern economy it has to be reduced in terms of consumption.

It is made from pollution! Initially, the reactor completely made up of stainless steel is filled with the air & captured greenhouse gas. These both are eventually made to flow towards the bottom of the tank where they react with a specialised biocatalyst ( the role of this biocatalyst is to pull out Carbon, oxygen & hydrogen out of the gases and rearranges it's preset arrangement ). So, it's like two different constituents into a tank with a special biocatalyst, reacts, rearranges, there you go - Voila! AirCarbon is born.
Now, that AirCarbon is born... where do we apply it?
It has already been applied in various fields like in extrusion, blown film, cast film, fibre spinning, injection moulding, & the posssibilities about to be discovered are endless. In the past 15 months, Newlight tech has £74 billion of AirCarbon in off-take purchase or licensed production agreements.
While, a dozen major companies have already pooled in their contributions to get benefitted from this revolutionary material Dell have already started using this as a packaging material for their products.

Now, calm yourself down with Music. So, aren't you tired & famished of using the same old preset Music Player that comes with the Device??? Actually, there are two exceptionally well built music player apps among a hundred of those available in the Google Play Store.
It has a totally cool futuristic interface, and also with totally awesome in-app transitions. It's exceptionally brilliant that it auto adapts it's UI according to the device it's installed on.
Sounds totally cool, right. Right now, it's got quite a lot of features like lock screen control, notification panel, & also the advanced player settings. So, go check it out guys.
It's by far the best I've ever come across with a totally minimalistic material design. Like it claims, the UI scores at customizability, right from the menu bar options, draw down menu, now play appearance, and much more. Whats really cool is that, it has an inbuilt theme engine which lets the user select from various colour gradient & shades to choose from.

Well, here's the answer. Almost every one's aware of what birth control pills are & also their purpose of consumption but, very few are aware of the adverse effect it has caused to our environment in the recent times. Ever heard of Hermaphrodites a.k.a, Intersex ?? Recent studies & analysis by various team of Scientists on aquatic ecosystem across the Globe leads to one conclusion. And, that is none other than this "Immature eggs ( usually present in females ) are being discovered in significant numbers in the Male gonads of fishes like Salmon, Trout, & Roaches ( all three being economically important fishes ) ." Yes, you read it right. The exposure of Estrogen, ( a hormone responsible for development and growth of female characteristics ) & EE₂ ( Ethinyl Estradiol, an important component used in the common prescription pills like in birth control pills ) has induced a feminizing effect ( Male individuals turn develop female characteristics) on the fishes living in the respective ecosystem which contain quantities of these hormones in it, even in trace amounts. Unfortunately, there are many possibilities of these hormones to adulterate the water bodies that may lead to accumulation of these in the water bodies & eventually in the organisms living in it. Though, significant steps have been taken to treat the water before letting them into water bodies, trace amounts do make their way in.

Ironically, the researchers are directing this study to analyze these effects on Humans who consume those fishes rather than the ecological imbalance which Humans have caused. It is we Humans who cause these adverse effects to our the harmless fishes.
Finally, I'd like to end this post with another sensational & an alarming discovery, not only does this caused a domino effect of turning them protandry also have they increased the chances of cancerous tumours among the fish population! Yes, there's too much at stake. Yet again, not only have we been ( unfortunately ) successful in harming the environment for our desires & needs, also have we contributed in the development of Cancerous tumours among the fish population
( though, not prevalent ).!
But, there's a Always a Way! Isn't it???
